Bwlb Ltd edits and exec produces four "always on" podcasts - Planet Possible, Arts & Culture, Groundwater Rising and Beneath The Surface. All four were originated by Bwlb in partnership with the organisations they represent. All four continue to grow both in terms of listener numbers and influence / thought leadership within their respective sectors.
Keeping this stable of podcasts to a manageable size means that Founder Andy Taylor can personally edit and exec produce every episode of every podcast. This keeps the quality high and gives clients excellent value for money. Other production companies may quote an inflated price and outsource production to freelancers to increase profit margin - this is not the Bwlb way.
Below is more information on each podcast, including its back-story, its artwork, a photo of the host(s) and an example video clip which has been used to promote the podcast on social media.

Groundwater Rising
Groundwater Rising is a podcast from Project Groundwater / Buckinghamshire Council. Groundwater flooding is forgotten flooding. It surprises people, comes up slowly from below and takes ages to go away. Often devastating, too little is known about it... this podcast aims to change that.
The UK government is funding research into groundwater flooding and this podcast communicates the cutting edge science and data as it emerges, plus tells the stories of communities affected by (and aiming to become more resilient to) groundwater flooding. Originally hosted by Katie-Hargrave Smith (who won an industry award for her achievements with the podcast), when Katie moved to pastures new, Helen Banyard took over (both pictured below).
Launched in April 2024, Groundwater Rising has published monthly episodes ever since and continues to grow impressively.

The video clip below is taken from the November 2025 episode 'Flood Source Interaction'. Dr Paul Ellis (Hydrolex) joined host Katie to share his expertise on how groundwater interacts with other water sources. Often, in flooding situations, there is a mistaken assumption that just one source of water is involved. But, understanding how all sources of water - including groundwater (which the least is known about) is vital to understand, plan for and mitigate flooding properly.
